20 teams from 18 schools across Harju county participated in the annual chemistry and physics quiz for year 8 and 9 students.

The main topic throughout the 22 questions was the Estonian Language Year. 
The maximum possible number of points to collect was 47. The top three was a close call for all teams!

1st place - Aruküla Basic School (34 ppoints)

Our school was represented by year 8 students Pavel and Markus and year 9 students Mairo and Aleksandra.

Another Youth Conference is coming up! This time the the students of years 7, 8 and 9 meet up at Aruküla Basic School on Tuesday, December 3 starting from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Learn from and with the Enteprise Promotion Village, Virtual Reality, counterfeit money specialists, Changemakers, Science Theatre - Kolm Põrsakest (The Three Piglets) and others.

The darker times of autumn and winter make it difficult for drivers to notice pedstrians and cyclers. A reflector and other reflecting products help making you stand out and be visible. Care for yourself, your family and friends. Wearing a reflector is easy and yet effective.

Set an example!

Make sure that you, your family members, friends and also pets wear a reflecter while walking or cycling outside in the dark!

Three classes of brand new students start their educational journey this autumn! :)

The previous version is moving onto a new platform.

School's website is moving onto a new united web platform designed for all educational establishments by Hitsa (Information Technology Foundation for Education) 

Uploading new information is still a work in progress. 

On 25 August, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m a sale for school supplies is held.

Two separate gatherings will be held in order to celebrate the beginning of the new school year: On 1 Septemer, a gathreing for year 1 ja 9 students On 3 September, a gathering for year 2 to 8 students

Year 1 and 9 students are welcome to the opening ceremonny of the new school year on 1 September at 10 a.m. at the Community House/Municipality Centre (Tallinna mnt 24)

The gathering for year 2 to 8 students is going to be held on Spetember 3, at the sports hall.
